Password Managers Hacked

This new research proves just that. According to new information published by Independent Security Evaluators (ISE), at least five popular password managers, including 1Password, Dashlane, KeePass and LastPass, could potentially leak unencrypted credentials and passwords while they’re running in the background. How severe are these issues? Or are they nothing to worry about? Let’s break them down. It’s like leaving your keys under your PC’s doormat The researchers from ISE (read: white hats aka the good hackers) said that the password managers they examined don’t always encrypt and clear the password from a computer’s memory while transitioning from an unlocked (password manager is running) to a locked (user is logged out) state....

Oscars 2020 Every Film Ranked By Number Of Wins

Because the 92nd Academy Awards have come and past, we thought it was a good time to look at the biggest winners of the latest ceremony. For simplicity’s sake, we won’t be looking at short film or documentary winners in this lineup. Every other film is fair game. It’s also worth noting that movies with the same number of wins will be sorted by their number of nominations. Before we get started, we’re shouting it out to Rocketman, which won for Best Original Song ("[I’m Gonna] Love Me Again") and Judy, which won for Best Actress (Renée Zellweger) and was additionally nominated in the Best Makeup and Hairstyling category....

With the Osmo Pocket, DJI has aimed to shrink down those same capabilities into a truly pocketable device … Look and feel One of the keys to shrinking down the unit has been abandoning the need to use your iPhone (though that statement does get a rider, below)....

Starting today, Google and Activision Blizzard have entered what may go down as one of the bigger deals in gaming history, as YouTube will be the AAA publisher’s exclusive streaming partner for Overwatch League, Hearthstone eSports, and more. Patent For The Ipad Magic Keyboard Shows Apple Pencil Slot

An Apple patent for the iPad Magic Keyboard shows a slot in the main hinge for an Apple Pencil. This would, in principle, address the concern some have expressed that there is no convenient place to store the Pencil while carrying the accessory. However, while it has been suggested this might be for a later version of the keyboard, I’m guessing otherwise … The patent has the innocuous title ‘Accessories for portable electronic devices,’ and an equally uninformative summary....
