Patrick Stewart says he’s spoken with Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios about the X-Men movies, but isn’t planning to return as Professor X. Along with Hugh Jackman, Stewart holds the Guinness World Record for longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero, having played the X-Men’s leader and powerful telepath Charles Xavier (aka. Professor X) for seventeen years. For better or worse, though, Stewart wrapped up his run as the character in 2017, the same year Disney began its purchase of Fox and re-gained the rights to use the X-Men and Fantastic Four in the Marvel Cinematic Universe....

Pebble smartwatch users running iOS 6 won’t have to wait until iOS 7 to get email notifications: the company behind the watch has issued an update for its iOS app to support email alerts. The update supports Gmail via a login through Google, while other IMAP email accounts are supported via a login-system within the app. Non-IMAP accounts (like POP) are not supported. The collaboration between Paytm and Citi is part of Paytm’s new subscription-based loyalty program, which it calls ‘Paytm First’. With Paytm First users will get exclusive benefits over the regular cashback on transactions. Last week a team of developers released the first untethered iOS 7.1.1 jailbreak, dubbed “Pangu.” At the time, the application only ran on Windows and the entire interface was in Chinese. However, a Mac version of the software was promised, and today that promise has been kept. Pangu 1.1 was released on the dev team’s website earlier today and brings a handful of changes. Most importantly, the software now supports Mac OS X and sports a new English UI....

Parallels announced an update to Parallels Desktop 8 for Mac today that introduces experimental support for OS X Mavericks. Ouya launched its Kickstarter campaign in ly 2012 became the second-most funded project of all time, with $8.6 million in pledges. (Only the bble smartwatch was more successful, with $10.3 million pledged.) The console runs a heavily modified version of Android promises the kind of small-scale games found on phones tablets. Outcast for Apple Watch was one of the first podcast players to offer a good experience on watchOS, and now Outcast is showing off how podcast chapters can work on the Apple Watch. Apple brought its own Podcasts app to the Apple Watch in watchOS 5, but it doesn’t support skipping between chapters.
