After the CyanogenMod and AOKP ROMs, the Paranoid Android team is the most popular one in the Android community. In the past, the Paranoid Android team has came up with some unique features including per-app DPI settings, PIE mode, and much more recently, Halo. After the release of Android 4.3 from Google, the PA team is working hard on bringing all of its features to the latest version of Jelly Bean. However, the PA team is also working on something bigger and better simultaneously. The PA team is aiming to shift from the custom ROM scene, and instead provide full-fledged “professional” firmware to its users. This is something which even the CyanogenMod team has not tried yet, and it will be interesting to see how the PA team implements and executes this idea.
